This obligation shall survive the termination, completion, or expiration of this signed agreement. Violation of any or all of these rules and regulations could result in participants being asked to leave the festival / show. Artist / Participant has also read and understood the rules, standards and policies and agrees to abide by them. Participant further agrees to hold the International Art Festival at Peace Arch Park, it officers directors and employees, volunteers harmless from and against any and all products liability claims which may arise out of the sale of the products by the participants in the festival / show.Īrtist / Participant has read and understood the above. The Artist / Participant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the International Art Festival at Peace Arch Park or Blaine Artists, its officers, agents and employees including volunteers from any and all liability, losses, costs, expenses, including reasonable attorney’s fees, causes of action, claims, and suits, whether based upon infringement of copyright or other propriety right or negligent or intentional acts or omissions of the Artist / participant, its agents, employees, arising out of the Artist’s/participants involvement with the International Art Festival at Peace Arch Park /Blaine Artist. If an Artist chooses not to get insurance, he or she may be held personally liable for any and all damages that arise out of his or her Participation in the International Art Festival at Peace Arch Park. The International Art Festival and Blaine Artists cannot and will not be responsible for any injuries or damages that arise out of the Artists’ use of the booth space, or any of the Artists’ conduct. Artists / participants are liable for any and all incidents, damages, and injuries that arise out of their use of the rented booth space, including any damages or injuries arise from their tent or property.
We encourage all artists and participants to carry general liability insurance and other insurance to cover their property. This is an international border crossing everyone must be observant and report suspicious behaviors. The Artist / Participant must notify Festival staff immediately regarding any security concern. The International Art Festival at Peace Arch Park and Blaine Artists will not be held responsible for any lost, damaged or stolen items.
